Cars not selling?

It is. Whatever a Mezger engine means, but near all GT3's and all 993's use the same crank case which is actually a 964 part number
Apologies, when I say Mezger, I (rightly or wrongly) mean the watercooled ones i.e. pre-991 GT3 lumps and 996/997.1 turbo lumps. As I said, I'm not a mechanic and am only going on what I have noticed over the years. Wilmslowboy said:

But as it's lower than normal it's seen as a bargin.
The market is dropping and sellers need to accept that to make a sale they need to realign their expections.

If these prices were high everyone would be calling it the new price point.

Some stuff sold really well, a 991.2 GT3 touring, £191k after fees But as it's lower than normal it's seen as a bargin.

89 turbo (5 speed) 44k miles £116k after fees
993 turbo S (proper) - 71k, yellow - £187k after fees

Yep, I agree. But as it's lower than normal it's seen as a bargin.

From all the cars I have seen so far, most need a minimum of £5k spending on them, some up to £10k but the prices are not reflective of their condition.
Lots of dreamers out there and the ones who have taken care of their cars don't want to sell them (and who can blame them)
I’m selling a car at the mo, not a Porsche but my Maserati. Have had possibly 7-8 enquiries in 6 days. I’ve priced it as the cheapest one online except cat d write offs.
I think that cars do sell at the right price but many owners think that their car is worth the asking price of the most expensive one for sale in the country when the reality is that the ones that sell are likely the cheapest

89 turbo (5 speed) 44k miles £120k after fees
993 turbo S (proper) - 71k, yellow - £194k after fees
89 turbo with 44k and 993 turbo S are collection bound and the GT3 touring is premium at present.

Spot on. You're a realist. I think that cars do sell at the right price but many owners think that their car is worth the asking price of the most expensive one for sale in the country when the reality is that the ones that sell are likely the cheapest
