Lost 1 litre of water this morning from the coolant.

Jacked the car up and it seems the bottom right drive belt pulley has a leak.

Checked online to see if it is a water pump, but water pumps online look different to what it looks like on my car.

Anyone have any experience with this car? its a 2011.

Hi there are a number of rubber hoses,in the middle of the V6 diesel engine, they can actually change to a spongy feel and disintegrate.

I have had one Cayenne in workshop with coolant filling up the V,I ended up changing all the hoses and any base seals for oil/water heat exchanger units.
I have replaced water pump, water cooled oil filter housing.

The main problem is that there is so much stuff jammed in the V6 that it's very difficult to see where the coolant leak is actually from,
I had it run down past the alternator and down back of engine.

If you remove the plastic design cover on top of the engine, you can shine a torch between the inlet manifold and you may see the coolant.

Must be the dumbest post of the day. Well done. Congrats.

Car cost me 30k, Do you think if a car cost someone 30k cash that they can't afford a tyre?

As you clearly can't understand my threads, I will educate you.

The tyre thread was querying why the price has increased rapidly over the years. I [paid £10 per tyre consistently for MANY MANY YEARS. Just so you know, if a tyre change costs 30k, I can afford it wink

Secondly, coolant loss has nothing to do with being incapable of maintaining a car. It happens on cars and any car at any time with any mileage. Its currently in the garage and the bill for the repair is £900. Which im happy with.

So next time you open your mouth, think carefully.

Thats your lesson over for the day. Hope you can move on from this and not make the same mistake again in the near future.

Cheerio.

Ha ha ha , touchy little twerp.
You make a thread saying about how expensive it is to pay for a tyre to be changed & then this on how you want a cheap job ...then announce you own company's & porches etc lol, dreamer.

I've got a Porsche Cayenne 957 3.0 Diesel with a leak from the oil cooler. I am trying to obtain the following parts before attempting a fix.

Oil cooler
Oil cooler gasket top/bottom
Inlet manifold gaskets
Any other parts that you recommend changing at the same time.

Hoping to use OEM, Q7 or Touareg parts if possible. Any advice gratefully received.
