The 1986 film was somewhat nightmarish, carried off with success by Connery.

Watched the first episode tonight, a good start, shows promise.

Salvatore is no Hellboy though.

I agree re Ron Perlman.

He was excellent.

Even more so when I later realised he was a fully formed human being. I was convinced he was a disabled actor!

I gave this a shot. I watched a clip where a lil girl killed three armed and armoured men. A character that has been added to the story for the programme.
