Hi All, I have finally decided to return to Porsche ownership. I have been and bought a manual 993 coupe. Needs a few odd jobs ( bit of paint, sunroof seal etc but mechanical very good and the previous owners had it 14 years and spent 000’s
My first Porsche was a 993 back in 2000 and then had a run of 9 in a row.
Since then been through Ferrari’s 355 (still have), 550 and 360 and then more recently a vantage roadster, db7, Elise and Morgan + 8
Then looked at 996 and 997 turbo’s which were lovely but just missing something.
So back to another 993, which feels like coming back home after many years away !!

Beautiful car! Reminds me of my first 993. Same colour and interior but mine had a Techart exhaust and front spoiler. Enjoy

I had my 993 for a decade and sold last year. 911UK is active on the 993 front and worth checking out. Many 993 and Porsche owners started using a particular chap for all things servicing who is something of a guru.

He’s based in Wiltshire and well worth the drive wherever you are. Should you want someone proper and honest who won’t seek to charge for stuff that doesn’t need doing, he’s your guy. He owns 993’s himself as well.

So as not to break rules, PM me if you want details. Good luck with ownership

Welcome back. smile
What did you think to the 360? I’m thinking of selling my 993 to scratch the Ferrari itch.

Thanks, the 360 was ok but the 430 was another step forward.

I have to say if I was moving from a 993 to anything it would probably be a 355 (but I am biased as had mine 13 years) or a 430.

The 355 has character where as the 360 is more of a 996 if that makes sense.

Depends on what you are looking for.
