Ashgood Porsche Specialist Slough
Discussion
They're a professional car sales organisation and respected in the trade. Would have no hesitation buying a car from them.
They turn over cars quickly as they are usually priced right, and Mike knows everyone in the Porsche world OPC and specialist. I'm pretty sure I've seen Hexagon cars turn up for sale at Ashgood too FWIW.
If he's selling it, it will be a good car or he'll at least tell you what needs attention.
Negotiate hard with him though - he's tough

For those of you that have sold to Ashgood and Mike, did anyone negotiate by email and subject to a final inspection? Just wondering whether he tries to significantly haggle the price down on actually viewing the car by pointing out stone-chips (which surely every Porsche in the country has) etc. I have found him to be a bit evasive in relation to this and also in relation to the actual mechanics of transfer of money. He seems to be very keen to get a low-loader down to take the car away without discussing any of the business details. Feels like I'm being hustled slightly. Just wondering if any of you, much more experienced guys, can offer any advice?

Hi, I sold a 2010 Boxster-S a few years back over the phone & it went without problem when their guy arrived to inspect and collect; just make sure you describe the car accurately as their guy gave my car a pretty thorough checking over before giving the go ahead on the bank transfer. I obviously didn't let the car be taken away until the funds hit my account. As I'd described my car accurately, they paid the agreed value, as I say, just make sure you describe your car, warts & all.
Good luck.
I've sold numerous Porsche to Ashgood plus purchased (think ratio 6:1)
No better outfit to deal with - as previous poster posted, just be 100% transparent and honest on description
They are rightly fussy but pay good money for nice cars - the ever important word these days being 'pay'
I've had issues with lots of traders over the years, even OPC's - Actually getting funds paid out can prove incredibly hard work. Ashgood have always been the polar opposite. Price agreed = Price paid everytime.

Sold my 997.2 2S to them, knocked me down a bit on the sat nav not working (which I didn't actually check beforehand as I never use it), didn't say anything about stone chips of which there were many. Got funds in my account there and then and drove off.Gassing Station | Porsche General | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
