I considered both before deciding on the RRS a few years back. I went with the RRS as I had a dedicated sports car and was looking more for a comfy luxury family carrier so was ambivalent about performance. I also preferred the looks and interior of the RRS and still do now. I haven't had any issues with reliability and when I started thinking about a replacement this year I really have been struggling to find anything better for my needs. The new Volvo perhaps being the only equivalent sized car I'd like. Having said that I suspect when i do change it I may size down a bit and go with a Macan whcih has always appealed to me more than the Cayenne.

Thanks for your help everyone, decided on a Cayenne and picked a new one from the existing stock at the showroom. If anyone is in the market for one there are deals to be had.

Imo the new one is just as ugly also.

Hello Drl22

Please can you discuss the level of deal achieved and supplying OPC.
The few I have spoken to say no discounts/or stock cars,

PM If you prefer

Had a deposit on a hybrid for 15 months now and still no sign of it (was initially on a turbo so essentially dealer had my money for 19). Contemplated switching to a Velar when they initially delayed the hybrid but they pulled the 380 version and the quality just seemed poor. The Cayenne was supposed to come last November, but with the factory closing soon, ill be lucky if I see it this side of Christmas.

Personally I wouldn't name the dealer if you do decide to share... We all like a discount and you have to work HARD for one, so lets not spoil the business...
