SportShift PDF

If I stand correctly, there should be a PDF around called somewhat along the lines of "SportShift Learning Guide something".

I had not got much luck finding it online; could a kind soul please send it my way via mail here? I pay in good karma, cheers & thanks.

I recently posted that I had the dealers guide to driving the sportshift on a Vantage Facebook group and must have sent this to about 65 people including 3 requests from people owning Aston Indy garages. I found it surprising how many people did not know it existed. I originally got it from the American for 6 speed online.
It is good how helpful people are in the Aston world.

This has some great tips, e.g. quick double click on both paddles to remain in neutral when engine off - never heard of this one before!

Is that not covered in the owner's manual? It is in the manual for my 'ancient' Vanquish, so I would be surprised to learn it's not in manuals for later SSM cars.

I have read the manual quite thoroughly, but this guide is indeed providing some new info.

No it never was. Don't ask me why Aston chose not to given all the unfair criticism leveled at SS

Agree, I've been through the V8 Vantage manual (only once though), and i don't think this - as well as a few other tips - was covered.

Given the sheer number of people who asked me this, I believe we should make this sticky and/or in the FAQS. The FAQs is BTW the place where I learned about this guide, but the link is broken.

In this case I will upload the PDF on a public hosted solution.
