Anyone going? I do enjoy going and will be again this year. Normally. Week day as I found it quieter

I'm planning to go, but probably a weekend as I don't have a spare day off, I won't be taking the son though so I don't need to worry about the crowds as much. It'll be interesting to see what's announced in the next few months. No stand out new bikes yet (maybe the new Rocket 3)

I’m hoping to go for a mooch around. Ideally I’ll go down by car with a mate or two and make a bit of a day out of it. It’s quite a few years since I was last at the show. I’ll need to have a look at the website to see who the confirmed exhibitors are and not just for bikes, but for “stuff” as well. I might even go crazy and get myself some custom ear plugs made! I’m hoping to be a lot more mobile by them although I’ll probably still need at least one crutch. Worst case scenario is I can always take my wheelchair.

Been going for about 10 years and yes sometimes not as good as the year before or next show but going as per normal with 3 others in my car and 2 other car with mates going as well.
So always fun to catch up and look around.

Usually try and make these but 1st weekend I'm at Portimao and 2nd weekend is bike pick up frown Will just have to wait until the Excel in the new year to squander yet more money ....

I usually think these shows are better every two years.. gives more of a chance for new bikes to be released so that you have new things to look at...

That said I'll probably still go!

I'm going. Will ride up on the tracer and pick up the free oxford disc lock (almost the price of the ticket might aswell, havn't got one for work parking).

Hoping my biking brother can come along for his 40th bday present. Might take him out for a brummie curry after if he's lucky.

I will be going, went for the first time last year (during the week) and enjoyed it. I got some of the Custom Fit Guards and wouldn't be without them now, well worth it IMO.

I've got a few days off left this year so could go mid-week, anyone know the quietest days? I'm guessing Tuesday/Weds?

Anyone been for the test ride stuff? Always tempting to punt a couple of bikes about. Sounds like it'd be worth a look anyway.

The FTR is on the test ride list... if you haven't already checked.

I do like to go every few years and haven't been recently but £19.50 entrance and then another £10 to park is taking the piss.

I've been going for quite a few years but the thought of going all that way just to sit on a few bikes and pull a levers has lost its appeal. Not sure if it's me or the show but every year there seems to be fewer small stands around the outside with stuff to look at and the ones that are there seem to be selling tat.

Great for buying helmets as nearly every possible brand and style can tried on but I don't think I can fit anymore in my garage.

I will miss the camel toes though lick

They have been an endangered species for a few years and are pretty much extinct now.

I'm almost sure that we won't bother this year. I don't need any more stuff and can't get excited about any of the new bikes.

Cheers Mate for this but I'll test ride in the spring. Saves me taking my gear to the NEC and riding in the possible crap weather

They provide gear.

I test rode an MT09-SP there last year. Left my stuff with my bike and used theirs.
