As in a base Taycan? I didn't think they'd been announced.

Hgvs just dont enter the equation purely on the loads the batteries will take just to get the load moving .. the will generate heat and break down pretty quickly. Of course they could reduce the loads they carry to compensate then more traffic . frown
Its cars and city vehicles they want to convert.

I think range and charging intervals willl make or break the proposition here indeed, no one gives a toss about truck accelleration. Except for truck racing.

This is still in a Taycan topic right?

Gentian Blue is really pretty to my eyes.. Go for it. Mamba Green will also look very good on the Taycan but it's not for everyone. Volcano Grey also is a great choice if a bit too unassuming to my taste.

Here's some Gentian Blue on a 992 to take in:

I love the Taycan but that is gorgeous. Perfect for a summer trip across the Alps and re-fuelling only takes 5 minutes wink

Yes base Taycan and have a delivery date of April 2020. I did show intent around 18 months ago though! Apparently the waiting lists are now rather huge.

Well, the Taycan Turbo and Taycan Turbo S are on the configurator, the base models (e.g. not designated as turbo) are not on there yet.
Or are is there some obscure country that does have them on already? Please share if so.

Unknown at this moment. However by comparative approximation you might derive a decent guess:
Using the Panamera as an example, Porsche's closest car in the current lineup, the Turbo variant starts at $153,000. The base Panamera, meanwhile, is close to half that cost, starting at the relative bargain price of $88,550. The Panamera 4S starts at $105,000.
The guess is if the differential wil be the same or not.
