Why shocked? Look how many 1 year old 911's and Cayenne etc are for sale. 100 looks quite normal. Besides I must know a half dozen people who haven't commuted into London for the best part of a year now, with many considering only doing so in future when absolutely necessary which would make a 100k EV on the drive seem a bit redundant.
I was thinking more % wise to amount sold. Around 1000 registered so that makes around 10% for sale. They have sold many more 911 and cayennes in the same period

I placed a deposit on a Taycan Sport Turismo when i picked up my Taycan six months ago. Really looking forward to it as i'm hoping it'll address some of the impractical packaging issues and thereby making it more useable. The Taycan ST will be the more desirable version and will look even better than the saloon.
Volcano Grey is a lovely colour and suits the Taycan . All my present cars are either Grey or Black as i'm done with bright flashy colours.

Had one as a loan car last week. The packaging for such a big car really is quite poor I think...boot space is tiny for such a big car. Infrastructure currently not fit for purpose if you need to charge it when you’re on the road unless you happen to be near an Ionity charger
Agreed, infrastructure has to be there IMV. Don't have the time to check and book chargers on a long route, lifes too short. The fact they can't be sold on easily is also an issue, tax breaks evaporate. The Macan will be interesting. Hope they extend battery life, that would be worth considering if so.
Just bough a Mini for fellow Director, urban, makes total sense.

Not sure I agree with that.

Cross Turismo is on the configurator at last and my OPC is asking me for a provisional spec. I was their first deposit (about a year ago) and they have a 4S May build available but no info on turbo allocation yet. My head says 4S but my heart says Turbo... Tempted to wait a little longer if necessary for the Turbo but not too long!

Any thoughts about Frozen Blue? It's either that or the (safer) Carrera white metallic.

The turbo is pointless over a nicely specced 4S. You don't need anything quicker than a 4s with the battery.

It can depend on how you're going to pay for the car sometimes. I put one together on the configurator the other day and if you're looking at a PCP then the Turbo cam out cheaper on monthly payments than the 4S. I guess this will be to do with retained value and lack of value in the options.

Obviously if you're buying through your business and taking the corporation tax relief one EV purchases then this won't be relevant.

I’m loving my 4S so far. Definitely no need for more power. 500Kg less weight would be good, but this isn’t going to happen!

I went with Dolomite, but the demonstrator I’ve tried previously was in frozen blue. In my opinion it’s not a great colour, despite looking good on the magazine shoots. Clearly taste is entirely subjective though.

The Demo we drove was also Frozen blue and my family loved it but personally not a colour i'd want for any length of time. Our is Volcano which really suits it but might consider either Mamba, Cherry Red or Gentian Blue for my Cross Turismo.

On the configurator, on my (good) PC monitor, Volcano looks a slightly brownish grey, which I quite like (on my iPad last night the colour looked more grey), as it is reminiscent of the good old 70's 911 colour. Is that how it looks in the metal?

No it's a deep dark grey.

Hope I can get a look at colour before I had to lockdown of build... OPC has one but they're officially shut.

Thanks Taffy... That's what was bothering me about the Frozen Blue, I think it's a colour you'd tire of quite quickly. I think Carrera White is the current favourite here at the moment... boring but safe! I've a while before we have to decide though.

I LOVE the new 21 inch Cross Turismo Design wheels too!

This is my take on the colour as well. Not 100% i'll get it on the Cross Turismo but SWMBO wants the same colour to keep the neighbours tongues from wagging.

Yeah I wanted a Turbo in some offensive colour but I was vetoed in favour of a 4s in volcano so as not to "look like a tw@t". Clearly I still am a tw@t just harder to identify in traffic.

I think the cross tourismo will be good if the extra boot space is desired, but for me the design looks like an adaptation of the original and not quite as elegant. The plastic arch trim isn’t particularly great either. I haven’t checked if this can optioned out yet.

Yup agree the black plastic wheel arches are nasty. Reminds me of the Audi Allroad. I think it would have been a much better car if had been a Sport Turismo like the Panny....without this off road pretence which lets face it is daft. You need a Porsche with off road capability buy a Cayenne.

Mrs prefers silver to grey. I suppose I could go with that if I threw some tasteless graphics on it - like my GT3. hehe

Martini Racing stripes on a Cross Turismo need doing. Anyone good with Potatoshop?

Looks like the arch trim is painted black on the Turbo S...which makes the other black plastic look very errr plastic

There are people who have had the plastic bumper trims taken out and painted in gloss black, which does seem to look good. I’m not sure I can be bothered going to that much effort though!
