I think you've got most of the essentials there, I suppose you have to stop somewhere or you end up getting completely carried away.

The kid in me would be adding Sports Sound to it though! I have it on more often than not.

I’d drop comfort access and fancy charge port and add in rear wheel steering. This is the option I wish I had gone for.

It's a tough one isn't it. My concern is that i'd end up in turbo money territory without even thinking about it.

Most of the time it will one driver (family duties will be covered by the XC90) so the spec feels like a good middle ground.

it's all very personal isn't it.

I'd also drop comfort access but I'd keep electric port as it's just a joy everytime you use it. I've never felt any requirement for rear wheel steering.

I would also drop sports chrono is I had my time again - clock just looks out of place on the dash and using the PCM to select mode is no hardship for the occasional use.

Park surround is a good choice as the camera is hilariously bad for a £100k car.

Performance battery is a must-maybe standard now?

Performance battery is standard on the cross-turismo which is good.
Re. comfort access i'm just used to having keyless entry on my other cars
Sports chrono I added in but i'm not adverse to using the screen to access the relevant modes

I also had the sports seats in one of the previous versions i'd generated online but i've dropped those out too in favour of the standard seats.

Only you know which options you'll value more. I have always had comfort access but I have always had theft in the back of my mind.

Agree that surround camera is useful as the standard one is comically poor for such a car and I use Sport Chrono every time I get in the car, having a driver-defined Individual mode I find quite useful.

Let's face it, once you're driving around in it, you'll be over the moon no matter what options.

I think they’re shipping the delivery driver with it, perhaps?

Good luck!

Apparently you can climb in through the boot and back seat... otherwise they sand the floor and drag it out with a forklift!

You’d think, by now, there’d be car containers with side doors, like a race trailer sort of thing.

Anyway, hope it works out okay!

A nice trip to Silverstone this morning and our order is confirmed after an hr test drive

Anyone taken UK delivery of a Taycan in the last few months? Could I ask you take a pic of the back of your mobile charger? Ie..

Of course my house happens to have 208V 3 phase for some stupid reason and there appear to be several Porsche mobile chargers all with the same part number (!) one like the one above 100/240, 120/240 and another 120/208/240 which I'm thinking might now come as standard, maybe, hopefully...

Watched Jonny Smith’s review of the Cross Turismo last night, I think he;’s really quite good. Can’t help but feel his conclusion about wanting a Sport Turismo rated than the Audi Allroad look of the Cross Turismo is bang on.

What is going on with the shiny black wheel arches and the matt sill trim ? On the Cayenne you pay to get rid of the black plastic with this they’ve made if a feature !

Yes I enjoyed this too - I like his presenting style, and you had to laugh at dog bit, I was expecting a Labrador or similar sized dog!

Is that neptune blue? It looks good I think.

Me too. I think he summed the car up extremely well.

Might have been small, but if ever there was a pooch which epitomised the phrase "it's not the size of the dog that's in the fight, it's the size of the fight that's in the dog", that was it. Fierce. Respect. hehe

He's good because he's not a badge snob - he was extolling the virtues of the new Peugeot EV the other day - but at the same time is very, very clear about why the Taycan is such a quality act. In his words, a Porsche which happens to be an EV, not just an EV with a Porsche badge.
