Run that by me again (not that I will be doing PCP as this is an asset (debt!) that has to show on MY balance sheet, not others'...). If you add £10k to a 4S in options a PCP financer will NOT take that extra £10k spend into account???
That is my understanding, it's why a lightly optioned Turbo (for instance) can cost the same per month on finance as a heavily optioned 4S.On leases , the extra cost of options tends to be fully amortised into the lease , making them relatively expensive .

Thanks guys - the Turbo man maths is back in overdrive now - yeah thanks for that!
It does actually make sense. Any other Porsche you could get that much more performance for 15k you would. How much was the Weissach package 30k for some wheels? I live on a small island with a 50 limit so a 4S is fine but I really think the performance tailing off over 60 would bug me too much in the UK. Get the Turbo and be cheap on the options! You're welcome. A naive question for current owners.
In terms of charging, have any of you just gone with just a 32a external socket to charge with Porsche Mobile Charger Plus?
This approach is being recommended on one of the UK facebook groups, but I thought I'd ask here.
It sounds too easy to me, and I wonder whether it's appropriate for the required load. The last thing I want to do, is create a fire risk for the sake of not installing a charger.

Guys, can anyone advise of real world mileage per charge?
I drive between our family home and my place in London once a week, approx a 200 mile round trip, really don’t want to have to mess about with charging on the motorway or in London for this trip.
Is 200 miles always easy or will it ever get close on a full battery?

I have only ever charged mine with the Mobile Charger Plus. I exported my UK car and it’s UK charger is plugged into a US 211v 50A supply and I charge at 32A.In terms of charging, have any of you just gone with just a 32a external socket to charge with Porsche Mobile Charger Plus?

I would not just assume any socket or wiring is rated to 32A; that’s a whole lot of power that should have much thicker wiring than standard (and probably a heavy duty plug, mine is NEMA 14/50). Have an electrician either check the existing socket/wiring and breaker or better yet install an even higher rated one to give you some head room. For a continuous draw my electrician told me to wire to 20% over what I’d be charging at. If you have a 32A socket already installed then just cap the charger at 20A in settings.
If in any doubt at all have an electrician check it out for you.

Don't have mine yet (but there is NOTHING I have researched more ) but that should be achievable - especially on 19" or 20" even on a very cold day that reduces range.I drive between our family home and my place in London once a week, approx a 200 mile round trip, really don’t want to have to mess about with charging on the motorway or in London for this trip.

You need to compare with someone doing a similar trip; my 4s without the bigger performance battery gets an easy 230 miles in Sport but I don't do any motorways, mostly urban dual carriageway type roads 40-60 so quite efficient.I drive between our family home and my place in London once a week, approx a 200 mile round trip, really don’t want to have to mess about with charging on the motorway or in London for this trip.

True, it is very roughly 10 miles of city/town driving and 90 miles on 70mph roads. I don’t push it on the motorway, 70-75 steady. So who has a decent bit of cold weather motorway driving under their belt? Share the results!
I had planned on the performance battery, so that would add a bit extra too. I rarely use the car in London either and at home will have a charger keeping it full. So in theory it should be very easy.

I should have provided a bit more background. This would definitely require some new installation work from an electrician, but it's just one option.
Also talking to Frimley111R to see if a charger is the right option (preferred approach).
