2700 miles taking in Belgian (Spa) GP, Autobahn mile-munching in Germany, 17 Alpine passes in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Italy, Italian (Monza) GP and then the old Rheims circuit on the way back.

Had nine cars on the first stages and four for the whole trip - a great mix.

Hard to beat for like-minded company, endless laughs and banter and, of course, great memories.

James

Brilliant mate absolutely brilliant what a laugh we had!

The perfect antithesis to the rubbish about mileage, values and specifications and proof above all - drive the things!

Porsche 911R - take note.

I dont think since i sold her,its seen the day of light sadly,it only had about 6k miles on it when we to the snowy ringsmile

Usually when I don't like a thread topic I'll post on it repeatedly and try to get the OP to not posts such things again. I mean, that is the normal thing to do, right?

+1 for the Jaufen, then if heading west via the Fuorn/Ofen Pass the Albula Pass is another for the connoisseur.

Off topic, but I am always intrigued by the 07 plate on your CGT, I thought 2006 was when the last.were delivered beer

Agree on those passes! Found the Gavia somewhat narrow but hey, 50 Hill starts and we were through it!

My car was never registered until 2007.

Love the direction this thread has gone. Don't know why I started reading given the title, but glad I did
