Well done to the biker. Disgusting who and where the thief was targeting and the penalty he got. You get more for going a couple of miles over the speed limit.

Pathetic. Build more fking prisons or make the tts work in chain gangs.
And people wonder why the Law isn’t popular?
Oh speeding Sir, do bend over....
It's alright expressing indignation but people don't want to be taxed more to build them & run them. Every government department is struggling due to years austerity & lack of investment. The prison system is already on it's knees. And people wonder why the Law isn’t popular?

People who can afford to be fined will get fined, people who have nothing to start with get fined a token amount.
It's the hard economic reality.

It’s BS.People who can afford to be fined will get fined, people who have nothing to start with get fined a token amount.

The Police are more bothered by speeding than burglary or dealing with scum like this.
Perhaps the SAC revenue should be diverted.

The Police put him in front of the courts & the courts sentenced him no doubt in line with their guidelines (& in your tiny myopic world view that the court does that is somehow the fault of the Police )
Are you Alf Garnett?

Sorry for the reality check Vonhosen but you have been brainwashed and you lack sufficient brains to realise that what little brains you possess have been thoroughly flushed with Home Office approved bullst.
The entire criminal justice system has failed the taxpayer and is in a downward spiral.
Various Home Secretaries have over the years cut front line policing and every single Chief Constable has conspicuously failed to take them to task over these cuts due to either ignorance of reality or cowardice. The ACPO/NPCC or whatever the fk they are calling themselves this week could have stood up with some intestinal fortitude and shown up the Home Secretaries for the fools that they are but it is obviously an easier life bullstting the local rotatrians and playing golf than telling the truth and risking the gold plated pension.
The few Law Courts that remain have zero concept of life in the real world which is reflected in the sentencing.
The prison service is underfunded and what little cash they are allocated is being spent in the wrong places, ask why the Dutch have half empty prisons and low repeat offending?
Ever heard of Admiral John Byng or Roman Decimation? Whilst excecution is a touch extreme several high profile P45's would definitely motivate the remaining incumbents to actually achieve as opposed to merely serving.
As for your argument that people don't want to pay taxes to reduce crime?
I have no doubt that you will respond with some mealy mouthed bks but the fact is that the entire 'criminal justice' system is broken. It is nothing to do with 'criminal justice' and everything to with 'Taxpayers' Justice'
We, the Taxpayer are picking up the tab for your incompetence and we are pissed off with your failure to achieve.

We live in a world where the Police happily spend hundreds of man hours prosecuting someone for covering a number plate, before various dullards celebrate the custodial sentence. But finding the scrote who nicks your bike, ‘ooh long gone Sir’ The Police put him in front of the courts & the courts sentenced him no doubt in line with their guidelines (& in your tiny myopic world view that the court does that is somehow the fault of the Police )

Ineffective, useless, rotten.
The crowd should have battered him, but they’d have ended up being charged. Great system.

For a start I'm not 'in' it as you put it.
Most of what you've said (systemic underfunding) actually supports what I'm saying only you seem to be too stupid to realise it
But we disagree on executing people being merely a touch extreme, or that a few high profile P45s will make much difference.
The sentencing of this guy has naff all to do with the Police, your fellow airhead yonex was being called out for making that ridiculous claim.
I'll leave you numpties to bolster yourselves with more pointless trite in support of each other.
