Some advice please ladies and gents,

I have £25k burning a hole in my pocket.

Need something that can be silly and sensible if needed.

I live close to work and do shifts so mileage is tiny at about 5k a year but do have to transport the kids sometimes.

RS focus mk3 springs to mind but does anyone have any other suggestions?

Thanks

Matt

I swapped my mk3 RS for a C63 (PPP estate) and don't regret it.

I doubt many would actually get very excited by it though. So many much better options out there than one of those for me. Much like the Audi TTS I had, it was lovely to live with and a great all weather car...but not very exciting to drive at all though.

haha well played.

I like the more leftfield suggestion of a beasty Holden , I'd consider a trip to Elite to look at the VXR500 supercharged Monaro he has in stock and I'd recommend a drive of the red low mileage VXR8 saloon as a more practical option , it's a friend of mines old car and really is stunning condition.

20mpg since I bought it. Mainly shorter journeys doesn't help. It's surprisingly frugal on a long run at c.30mpg. We only do 6000 miles a year.

VED is painful at £570 or a £40something direct debit.

£46pcm for the Mercedes service plan. Last service should have been four figures but everything was covered by the service plan.

Summer and winter tyres really help using it all year round.

I've had a facelift w204 c63 Performance Pack Plus for almost 4 years now and was planning on selling up in the new year (where to go from here though?). I also live close to where I work, and have mainly used it to ferry the kids to school on my way in (saloon - 2 child seats and 487bhp) putting in around 5000 miles a year (just shy of 28k on it now).

Are you still in the market? I could get an ad up here with pics sooner if interested?
