Can't access on the Internet on pc but OK on tablet etc.i am getting Unidentified Network error but windows 10 can't fix itself.

Have gone through all on https://helpdeskgeek.com/networking/how-to-fix-can...
I fail as I can't ipconfig renewel. OK presume network problem on motherboard but the WiFi is getting the sMe problem. That's wierd as the should be independant of each other. I have scrolled back win10 patch and no change.

Any ideas?

That sounds like a permissions issue on running the command

You might have to run your terminal as administrator to run that command

Restart your router/whatever you're trying to connect to. DHCP servers on consumer kit seem to st themselves quite often. Usually fixed with the old turn-it-off-and-on-again.

Been on live chat with very useful from windows . Managed to roll back last patch which was an Intel network update! Grrrr ulrolled back OK but still have valid ip configuration. Love chat stopped trued to get back with the same person and next got a person who said looked at what you have done and then said its a hardware problem and ended chat.

My logic if network card and WiFi don't work while router is working find with TV n tablet etc then it is a Windows problem? Will a new network card fix this crap?

Now I get an error on ipconfig /release of 'An Address has not been associated with the network endpiint'

Grrr hate computers

Have you considered using a Linux Live CD or Bootable USB to check if it will connect ok

Should prove something

What IP address do the TV and Tablet have? What IP address has the PC been assigned?

Where are they picking up their IPs from?

Any AV stuff running in your PC?

If you can get a mod to swap the e & i . . . that should fix the issue. Problem solved.

Grab a USB network adapter to see if that works then you will know if it's hardware or not, something like this - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Foktech-802-11ac-Wireless...

That what has confused me, I was using a seperate usb wifi like you have linked and getting same error as ethernet! If my logic is ethernet and usb wifi is having same error it must be the windows causing the bug, correct?

Had a very helpful person Microsoft webchat for 1hr+ of text chat, I lost the chat while downloading ethernet driver, next ms webchat and said sorry cant help we think it is a hardware issue and closed my chat!
