Porsche Connect and Porsche Car Connect

My cars show on the Porsche connect App yet when i go over to the Porsche Car connect App it says no cars connected.

Must be something simple that I'm missing, anyone help please !

My GT3rs connects on Porsche 'Car Connect' the Cayenne Coupe only on Porsche 'Connect' , I was told I wont get both cars on the one app so have to have both. The Cayenne is obviously newer tech and has far more functionality on the 'Connect' app.

There was a server problem announced today; has the functionality worked previously?

Interestingly (maybe) the VW server kicked me out today and needed re-registering - both run from the same location

Well think I’ve established that the free year subscription has expired on my Gt3 so that’s why that’s not there but the other is a newly added 718 Spyder

+1 on the Spyder. Shows the car but cannot connect.
The incredibly polite but totally useless help desk told me “it’s a system problem, we are waiting for a reboot”!!!!!
He ho first world problems.

In simple terms;

Porsche Connect: MyPorsche (data packages, management features etc)

Porsche Car Connect: Older VTS system cars (Vodafone).

E3 Cayenne & 992 only need Porsche Connect app. Their tracking system runs through Porsche AG.

PCM4 (718, 991, E2 Cayenne)

Here’s where it gets confusing. PCM 5.0 in the Macan and Panamera. Both Porsche Connect and Porsche Car Connect are needed as the VTS system is still Vodafone Cobratrak.

Do you have an active PVTS contract and have you confirmed with Vodafone it’s working okay? Your VTS control unit may need a hard reset.
