Unlike me?

I'm not quite sure why you think I wasn't conscious of the fact that the OP had avoided disclosing the price and therefore clearly wasn't keen to.

The fact was you asked why he should disclose the cost, and I responded with the fact he asked for advice on whether to buy the car and having the exact cost would make that advice significantly easier. I stand by that statement.

Perhaps it's just a case of crossed wires, so lets move on. beer

Eh he's given everyone the formula? Cheapest 2016 turbo s circa 100k-110k ish which I regard as VFM for what it is. So if he buys he's paying £50-55k? I'd still want to pay less but I can understand why someone would pay up to 55k for car like this. Isn't a better sporty GT on the planet for me other than the new 992 turbo s which will cost circa £175-200k depending on if you go for coupe or cab!
I too reckon a turbo s is value - not much out there £grunt
I'm looking at top end of food chain re 991.2 gen 2 with plenty of cars in network evidently not moving at moment. Hopefully an even more of a bargain out there.

Especially like the crazy green and jet black ones at Romans

I wouldn't know which one to pick. Both amazing but think I'd satin black the lower rear valance if I was bold enough to go for the green one as it looks not good body colour and makes the rear of the car look tall rather than low and wide how Porsche wanted it to look from the factory. In that wild hue I also think its transformed from ordinary 911 into a supercar. The triple black one is obviously Darth Vader's old turbo s. Both stunning so can't help you smile

If a guy has driven 130,000 miles in a 911 turbo S in three years I’d say he will be a regular on PH

Yes- for the warm, friendly atmosphere and camaraderie that makes the PH Porsche section such a harmonious and lovely place to frequent!
hehe

It is a pretty spikey place...

Hi Dragon - hmm now you mention that !! Bit like when someone pointed out the dam awful lower plastic rear panel on the new 992. Once you've noticed it you cant fail to ignore...

With ref to Romans green car, would'nt that additional paint coding of been factory????

Yes it was offered as a cost option from the factory and whoever bought that car ticked every box - its very high spec has everything. Easy enough to fix for pennies by wrapping or re painting. Certainly would not put me off.

Assuming the OP is paying c£50k for the car, I am guessing this is about what the owner would get selling it to the trade given the mileage....

If I was in that position and had spare 50k ish I’d buy it 100%.
My first 911 996 i sold with 185k on the clock and I still see it driving around. I know this a very different animal but these are good cars when they are looked after. My current 911 has 87k and I love it. Modded beyond belief and not for the purist but it’s my car😂
