Hi All

I am looking at a few Porsche Panameras between 2011-2013, 3L diesel versions. The ULEZ checker is telling me that these are ULEZ compliant - is this because they have Euro 6 engines?

I have tried to ask a Porsche Dealer but they can't seem to answer the question.

I don't think any if them prior to 2014 are ULEZ compliant.

If you find one with a Euro6 engine then it will be fine, Mazda for example had some Euro6 diesel in 2013.

What is the reg you are using to get the ULEZ info?

I have tried at least a couple of cars of this description and they are showing as being ULEZ compliant - strange.

Euro 6 diesel only cars are ULEZ compliant.

What’s worse is the ULEZ is growing next year or this year from north to south circular. Not just affecting London but as far as Edinburgh Have ULEZ plans coming into force.

Expect euro 5 diesel cars to take a big hit.
Haven't some cities just blanket ban/charges for any diesel cars so has that been withdrawn?

Even if you don't live in a city with a ULEZ it could still be a pain on day trips.

Not a definitive answer, but the Honest John website lists only one model of diesel Panamera and it's Euro 5, so not ULEZ-compliant.

I would fully expect that the TFL ULEZ checker will be updated at some point to show diesel Panameras as not exempt, but who knows when that will happen.

Thanks Braddo - weird that the TfL ULEZ checker says it is compliant.
