I don't know him and have just been having fun - partly by mimicking his writing style and partly by adopting the funereal tone of some of those posting, who seem to feel his loss as if were in some way real.

He's become a PH unperson - it's not fatal!

I'd be happy to welcome him back and there are others I'd happily see wiped in a similar way, but I'm not going to march to Westminster demanding justice.

I hope CM reads this thread and sees that, in general, while a few people appreciated his contributions, most thought him a tt. As I did, though sometimes there were some useful insighrs.
You'll have to post up your data on the above... otherwise, heaven's above, you might be just giving your opinion hehe
I just did a quick tally on this thread and it’s 50:50 supportive and unsupportive

Personally I didn’t like him, I didn’t find him to have any likeable qualities. Thought he was an egotistical bully and for every thread he made interesting, there was another that he totally derailed and killed. However I did conduct myself poorly with him and later tried to make amends for this. I was far from the only one who ended up belittled, frustrated, angry as a result of his attitude though.

I do appreciate his contributions and knowledge & I can plainly see that many others who were more adept at avoiding getting involved in petulant arguments, did get more out of his presence.

As before I wish him well and hope he can find a way of taking himself less seriously as my perception is that life is more enjoyable and pleasant that way.

Lot's of argumentative people on here to be honest, he certainly had a wealth of knowledge.

I think the place is worse off without him.

Holy cow!

The unstoppable force finally bumped into the immoveable object, presenting the Gods with an un-resolvable problem.

If it was possible to divine the future by examining metal deposits in an oil sample taken from an 3.4L M96 engine, as if they were tea leaves in a bone china cup; all of this could have been foreseen.

It can’t have been an easy decision for Jeremy to press the nuclear button [and the irrevocable redaction of ~15yrs worth of insight/invective - delete as applicable] but the K Foundation chucking £1m in cash into a fireplace still beats it for me in terms of performance art.

The earth will continue to turn but this place is all about content and from where I’m standing, it has been dimmed.

Rocket.

Real shame Cmoose no longer on here he was very helpful to me in buying my Cayman a few years ago.

Yes was opinionated and not all i agreed with as half of this stuff is subjective anyway. It takes 2 to argue and I recall he admitted his posting style could be abrasive at times but then so are lots on here who still think it's their way or the highway.

hehe

If Jeremy has decided on a similar moratorium with regards to discussing his going nuclear on here, it'll be 2043 before we truly understand his thought processes (actually, if it's anything like the K Corporation, we'll get some sort of insight in 2025, and by 2029 all will be revealed ...)
I for one, can't wait.

Didn’t K foundation borrow the cash from BOE and when they returned the remains they only had to pay £400 reprint cost to the Mint.

Well, even on this thread, never mind the randomly-found one I linked on page one, more people would want him back than are glad he is gone.

Shall I let you all know when I book our march on Westminster?

Possibly, but it's also very clear that those who aren't fussed about him returning, do so more vehemently than those who would see him return ...

Is it? You sound like someone posting opinion dressed as a fact hehe

The same as everywhere on social media, the ones making the most noise think they are the majority - perhaps the majority is actually those who are silent? Oooh have I coined a phrase?

Are you feeling ok? Not going all 'safe-in-america' on me again are you?

Don’t joke about it. Reminds me of people who paid £3 to get Corbyn in. The smile was wiped off their face for some time afterwards.

Give the forum some time to breathe and evolve. Let those who stopped posting or those intimidated to start due to the barrage of opinionated arrogance on practically every Porsche thread come and have an opportunity to create their own culture here hopefully in a more laid back environment.

It was difficult to state an opinion or make a contribution without risking being belittled. Great if you have the thick skin to ignore it, not everyone does or should have to. Let some other personalities have their moment. The forum was a lot better before it became so combative, I for one wouldn’t welcome back someone who was responsible for so much unnecessary conflict.

Totally agree - but we can't blame cmoose for that. Well, not on his own anyway.

PH is now unpleasantly clicky and full of ironing.

(No I'm being too 'whoosh'. hehe )

Not like the good old days.

Hey you may well be right. But as I can’t prove a negative, can you share a link to a thread on the Porsche sub that has degenerated into a pointless argument since he was booted off? Cos there is quite some number of ones that he was directly involved in from over the years that did albeit redacted now. But given the length you’ve been on here, we both know I don’t need to prove that point.
