I never had a prob with Cmoose. Shame he's gone, his posts were (mostly) spot on. I'd much rather read what Cmoose had to say than some other PH Members. As for bickering between him and other posters... I just skip over them so don't affect me. Hope he's well.

hehe considering his condescending attitude to anyone who might dare to have a different opinion to his (and boy would you know it if you did) the fact he's flounced is mildly amusing to say the least.

If he's asked for all his posting history to be deleted then it it's a proper, Elton John sized flounce as well.

Can't say I'm surprised to be honest, anyone that narcissistic was always going to have problems outside the echo chamber of his own opinions.

I didn't mind him and I liked reading what he mostly had to say. I do remember discussing NA versus turbos fairly recently with him as well. I'm not a fan of arguing with people, so if I see it descending that way then I just back off.

PH Porsche forum's most prolific, divisive and some would say, antagonistic poster. seemingly had an opinion on everything, AND was happy to share it with all on here ...

I think you'd have to agree, it's riveting stuff smile

You don't have a preferred toilet for doing jobbies in, in the office?

I always used to seek out the unoccupied floor in the building, and enjoy the peace and serenity. Oh, it's usually clean too, big plus.

when i was in the market for a 987 cayman 3 years ago I learned quite a lot from cmoose's posts and ended up choosing a 2.7 (2008) based on his and other posters inputs. Personally think the forum world will be a little bit worse off for him not being around.

Irrespective of whether I do or I don’t, I wouldn’t feel the need to discuss the chosen location for opening my bowels in the workplace on a public forum ... smile

And for goodness sakes, stop using the floor and use a pedestal like everyone else ... biggrin

Pretty much my thoughts. I liked the guy, and his knowledge of Caymans was valuable.

If he's gone then I'll be sorry not to read any more of his stuff. And there are other members whom I would happily see banned before Cmoose.

It might not be an outright ban, it might just be time out on the naughty step.

Hopefully he will be back soon and less argumentative.

Wrote mainly the news stuff for 911&PW. Under new ownership the mag is having a clear-out of journos so maybe just twiddling his thumbs or just driving an inevitably modded 987.

Ironically he did an article a while back saying how life on social media and posting +++ was so great.

On 16 inch wheels only. 17s would thoroughly corrupt the driving experience.

Manual, on 16 inch wheels only. 17s and PDK would thoroughly corrupt the driving experience on B roads, 'cos we don't drive on motorways when slower alternatives are available.

I've no doubt it was him, but for plenty on here, his idea of great, all too often wasn't for them.

He seemed to have some informed opinions about some Porsche models. But he was a properly argumentative sod, in the style of an adolescent male teenager, plus a bit of a self appointed know-it-all about all non Porsche stuff. And as others have said, couldn’t deal with being told he was wrong and would go hyper aggressive and condescending in response. He strayed into the Covid threads in NPE not so long and I am fairly sure earned himself at least one temporary ban there. Maybe he caught the mods’ eye one too many times.
