Porsche GB, All Is Not Well
Discussion
Apologies if already posted on here but there seems much infighting at PCGB.
I'm a current member but don't partake in any of the running and i'd rather not ask on the forum pages ( especially as a find there are too many forums and the toggling between them all all too messy and confusing, yes i'm old ) but can someone explain what's gone ?

It will sort itself out.
There is no chance of the coup prevailing ... the existing management are in the process of managing many changes ... and the only intelligent questions is, who wants to invest themselves in the best future for the club ?
If you have something to offer, everybody is listening.

Hi Chris, as previously mentioned it was a general question as i've no ides of the back story so will review the previous threads. A few years back i enjoyed the car meets etc with PCGB so didnt want to ignite any fires by asking on the PCGB forum.
Cheers
Apologies if I appear harsh, I don't think that anybody on the outside can truly understand the inside issues, nor can I.
But with goodwill they can be resolved over time.
If anybody reading this thinks they have a role to pay ... then apply for the job
One thing is for sure, overturning the existing regime for an untried and untested new regime would be an abuse of a legacy article of association that could give 50 disgruntled members (including family memberships) this opportunity.
One step at a time ...

I read some of the materials that were temporarily uploaded by some of the 'insurgent group' on the PCGB form.
To my surprise there was very little more then what has been said publicly (ie hardly anything): a regional committee head was sacked, with little explanation by the board. It seemed he was being over-zealous asking questions about the running of the club and the board got tired.
Said regional committee head is not part of the group trying to throw out the board.
Lots of noise about board minutes not being uploaded. Having dealt with the boards of many private companies i can't see how this is terribly unusual.
My read (until any real information is out there) is that it's a bunch of grumpy (old?) people with too much time on their hands making a storm in a tea cup.
Good entertainment value while we are all mostly home confined..
