Anyone thinking of ordering a facelift Macan?

The new model is due 2022 model. You can get delivery in October 2021 but I’ve ordered mine for delivery in Jan 2022.
The GTS has replaced the turbo.
I put down a deposit but not sure about the dates yet, nothing concrete from the dealer, Clive where is this info coming from? Thanks. The GTS has replaced the turbo.
Similar to other responses.
Friend placed a GTS order early April, expected delivery late 2021.
Spoke to same OPC last week as my Dad fancies upgrading his Macan 2.0 to GTS. Any Macan orders placed since March this year will be for facelifted model. Facelift model due approx October, on Configurator sometime in the summer. “Early 2022” was best the OPC could offer for my Dads order. I see online, and by the OPC that it was being referred to as the Macan Gen 3.

We will be ordering a GTS (our first Porsche) to replace our current car but won't need it until summer 2022. When should I approach dealers?
Given the year we’re having I’d say ask now. Get a deposit down and ask if you can defer the build slot if it comes up earlier than you want. I was in my local dealer on Friday, tried out a current base 2 litre ahead of going back with family to try an S when they could get one (not buying a car without making sure it doesn't make my son puke or wife generally unhappy).
Only info offered was a facelift is coming, power is up on all engines, they want £1k now to get me in the queue for a car, they said not to bother trying out the current S and wait for facelift to be there for me to try.
On the test drive bit, is this normal level of helpfulness for Porsche or best to try another dealer? The attitude seems a bit 'take it or leave it' overally.
Interestingly my local BMW dealer were bending over backwards to help. I was actually ready to order an X3 M40i but supply issues meant we had another look around (deal on table strong enough to not bother waiting for facelift but some key options like comfort entry and audio upgrade can't be met and no indication when the supply issues might be resolved).

Sorry cannot comment to much on the take it or leave it attitude, although I felt this with one Porsche dealership but not the one I will probably purchase from. I am just more aware of a BMW dealership bending over backwards to help. Found this when I purchased my M4. Excellent service, great price , great discount, but then when we you come to sell the depreciation is on another level. I would persevere and give them another opportunity. Far better car, cost more but you wont feel the pain BMW drivers have when it comes to trade one in.
The Macan 3 will be on configurator some time July. The Turbo name is being dropped meantime (I suspect it will reappear when the electric car appears in 2023). Instead the Macan 3 GTS is getting the Turbo power plant/output. No idea in pricing yet, although I suspect the GTS will jump a fair bit given the power hike.
My local OPC has a full order book for Macan 3 till year end.

I’ve had over night / weekend loans of cars from OPC colchester + Mercedes Colchester (both Jardine Lancaster group) and BMW/ Alpina Harold Wood. I enquire politely and explain it is important to me and my wife to make an informed purchase decision. The absolute minimum I’d except is half a day loan. If the dealer can’t do that for a potential buyer then I enquire elsewhere.
Honestly BMW were superb (Sytner Harold Wood too), the specific salesperson I dealt with was outstanding. Loads of help, as much time as needed, nothing was too much trouble.
I've gone out to an alternative Porsche dealer, run by the same group as the BMW garage, let's see if they are a bit less laissez-faire.

Anyone been told anything about when the electric Macan is coming ?
Porsche Centre Leicester called me yesterday (I contacted my work corporate supplier, he got them to call). He said new model / electric should be 2023.
I have seen rumours elsewhere the Macan will be electric only from them but they couldn't confirm.

Contemplating ordering a facelift GTS Macan and wondered if anyone else was in the same boat?
Any ideas when the new model is going to arrive and the configurator will change?
Price increase with new model?
Likely delivery times?
I placed a deposit a few weeks ago. Dealer said they were expecting 3 cars a month from late Sept. they already had about 10 orders which was fine as anytime in Q1 2022 would suit me for delivery. Any ideas when the new model is going to arrive and the configurator will change?

At present the centre console is loaded with switches ,by the look of spyshots i think most will be moved to the info system
Vag are having a nightmare with problems with their systems , im going to wait to see how all this pans out , maybe they will move some back to physical switches like they did on the 992 as too complex to make quick changes.
From my understanding deliveries will start in October/ November and if i had put my £3k deposit down 4 weeks ago id expect it in the summer.
It seems the configurator always seems available online in the USA before uk so keep an eye on that.

Placed my deposit a few weeks ago for a facelift GTS, was told it is getting turbo power, possibly 21s as standard, new colours, haptic dash and new bumpers as seen in spy shots.
20th of July for the configurator he thought.
There is 4 ahead of me in the queue at Preston OPC for them so I should hopefully get one this year.
Chester had 9 in the queue, Wilmslow said spring next year.
Sold my S via wizzle, which is now in Bournemouth OPC for more than I paid for it new.

Wonder where they will pitch the GTS price wise with the bigger power etc? 20th of July for the configurator he thought.
