PCM not showing maps

My 2005 Porsche Cayenne isn’t showing any maps. ( PCM current disc 997.642.235.03) I've tried removing and replacing the disc without any luck. Can anyone help? Thanks

I had a similar issue with my 997 a few years back, but it was related to windscreen replacement and a connection not being re-connected. Not sure if you've had any work done in that area that could lead you to root cause

Thanks for the reply. still no good. It looks like the CD isn't reading the disc correctly.

Had the same, used a disc cleaner a few times…..job done.

If it’s anything No like the sat nav in our 987 it’s utterly pointless anyway.

I don’t remember one of our local roads before he built, but it wasn’t in the maps. I am sure it predates me moving here in 2001.

I find it hard to believe anyone actually uses it. It’s laughable that when these were new, allegedly they were unsaleable s cond hand without it
