Hi Ric, I went to watch a hillclimb event at Loton Park over Easter.
I used to spectate regularly at most of the well know venues such as Shelsey Walsh, Prescott, Gurston Down and Loton Park. That was up until my work took over some ten years ago and left me with a scant lack of time.

Watching the two 600hp short wheelbase Quattros , an 800hp twin turbo RS4 and assorted Imprezas, Evos and other exotica attacking the hill in such relaxed and stunning surroundings has given me an itch to scratch.

During my ownership of the GT2 over the past five months I've realised that driving a 200mph car on public roads possibly isn't conducive to safe motoring (or a clean driving license)
I've never been a fan of circuit racing and/or trackdays and hillclimbing has always held an attraction for me.
It's not hard on the car and the events are very much a social event combined with intense and close competition.
I'm hoping it will be an enjoyable way to spend several of my weekends this summer.

Not bad! 16 in a few hours. Incredible number given how many ther are. Is there a prize for the oldest? Feeling ancient in 01...so old that the PCCB question isn't relevant. Mine was delivered new without.

The red car is a replica, I'm unsure, but I think the white car in front is is the real deal (the X plate doesn't tie up with the 84-85 release for the SWB cars though)
