I'm not really one for computer games but Need for Speed Porsche demo was free with this months EVO mag. I'm totally addicted, have now bought the proper game. Great fun - can drive 993 Turbos, 914's 964's, great fun.

Oh and if anyone can beat 3 mins 13 for the Normandy course I'll buy them a pint

How did you get 1.17???? The quickest I've seen even on expert level is 3.03, cant see how it could be done 3 times quicker? I'm averaging 100 all the way round and not crashing at all.

Same here Craig, graphics are superb. But...like you I'm getting fed up of driving the 993 demo car.

If you don't mind me asking, where and how much did you get it / pay for it ?

Thanks in advance,

Greg

PS - 3:09 for Nomandie is my best. How in God's name can you drive it quicker (like, 2 minutes quicker?) Assume you have a much, much faster car.

Got it at Dixons for £9.99 ! I would love to race but havent figured out how to do it yet/if our office firewall will allow it. I havent worked up to the 959 yet, my best is a 911RS so far.

Hi Craigw

i dont think you can work up to a 959 or any of the GT cars , you can just download them from the homepage, re a Head-to-Head if you are interested drop me a mail and we can try and sort it out , im a bit rusty at the momment but im sure it will come back fast enought

Mornin' folks,

Managed to get this game in HMV on Saturday for a tenner (sale price). Works like a charm on WinXP. Already downloaded the 959, GT2 & GT3.

I notice some compatriots have problems running it - if you want to drop me a mail off list I'll try and diagnose your problem remotely. I have Win2K on a laptop so I can give it a go on that.

All the best,

Greg
