Sunny days, late evenings, dry roads... Sounds like it's time for a Porsche get-together. What do you think?

If the bugger hasn't torched itself and returns in one piece tomorrow - count me and the missus in, defo!!

Domster, I'll lend you a Porsche badge for the front of the LC, keep quiet and no-one will notice.

Seriously tho, I'm assuming everyone's welcome, the more interesting motors the better right?

(Craig for sure, I need a good sniff round a 348.... just in case one day in the future)

Doh! I have to wait until end of summer for my next car. Would meet up, although doubt the GTV would do it for you. Where in the country are you guys?

I was hoping to attract a good mix. Got a bit bored of row after row of TVR’s (no offence). It would be nice to get some of the more exotic cars out for the day.

Dom I have a Ford badge you could use to cover your Vauxhall one with

My badge is actually an Opel badge - which obviously has a lot more heritage when it comes to cars that fall apart than even Luton can muster ;-)

I am up for a bash one Sunday soon.

Think it's a bit unfair not to put the meet on the Events page, as we don't want to be elitist... David P and the gang were a good lot. And besides, we need a few Tivvers to keep the spirited banter going ;-)))

Better invite a lot of tivvers to ensure at least a couple get there on the day!

LOL. Dom, what's all this anti-elitist business. You'll be driving a Porsche soon. You did take the test, right?

What test was that? This one, perhaps:

1. DO YOU LIKE MEETING NEW AA PATROLMEN? (0 points for no, 1 point for yes)

2. WOULD YOU MIND IF THE CHAIRMAN'S DOG STYLED ASPECTS OF YOUR CAR? (0 points for yes, 1 point for no)

3. DISPOSABLE INCOME IS BEST SPENT AT SERVICING TIME, TRUE OR FALSE? (0 points for false, 1 point for true)

I didn't quite get three out of three, so I'll try again next year, and then maybe I'll get into TVR ownership ;-)

No offence to the Tivvers, of course. (Don't hit me Flasher... He's a big man you know!)

I'm a Porker boy through and through but tried a Griff for two months once - will add questions 6 to 36 when we hook up. Wouldn't want to cause any Tiv friction on the site

Domster and I (we live NEXT to eachother, not WITH eachother) are in High wycombe so anywhere Bucks/Berks/West Surrey is good.

As a TVR fan first, and Porsche second here are a couple of questions you forgot:

Do you mind if the engine is in the wrong place? and
Do you mind if the pedals hinge from the floor? Can't think of another 4, let alone 36!

Nice to see friendly banter on the Tiv v Porker subject for a change

I'm in SW London (Wandsworth) and happy to travel to most places.

Yeah, fair play Kevin!

I'll let Scottster or someone else pick a time/place, he wears the trousers in our relationship ;-))))
