Whilst I will make every effort to attend this meet, evenings are not good for us in the city . How about Sunday 28th April. As for venue can someone suggest an area where our cars may be driven in the manor intended. I would hate to take someone out for a spin and not get out of second

OK, Ted has spoken so 28/4 it is.
As for a venue... well, The Crazy Bear is known to a few and the roads are good. If the weather is fine we can sit outside and it won't be a squash.
Anyone want to suggest a venue nearer them - UV and Ted are from Slurry if I remember.

I'm northern Hampshire...where's "The Crazy Bear"?
Crazy Bear is in Stadhampton, Oxfordshire - a posh pub that is quite small inside but has a lovely large and crunchy gravel car park. Picnic tables afford lovely views over this area...
One of the first PH meets was there, about two months ago. UV and PetrolTed graced us with an appearance, along with some other well-known PHers like Phythian (now DavidP) and Flasher.
The Crazy Bear will be on yell.com, I posted directions last time... may be in an old thread or archive or something. It's basically off J6 M40 or you can approach it from Oxford via the Oxford ring road Cowley roundabout.

If everyone is happy with the Crazy Bear at Stadhampton, Oxfordhire, on April 28th at, say, 3.30pm to avoid the lunchtime rush, shall we set it in stone? Objections now, please.
I will also put a carefully worded note out onto the Events/Meeting board, as any PHer would be welcome, I'm sure.
Don't forget that for Porsche diehards, Scottster and I are doing a Porker autojumble/show on the 27th (Saturday before) which is great if you want to buy bits and pieces, and that Grant (Gibo993) has mentioned a rennlist get together on a Tuesday. Not ideal for some, but I'm sure we'd be welcome.
I'm a member of rennlist but PH seems a bit more active and UK biased, and I normally end up chatting to UV on there anyway!

Sounds like all's agreed, does Ted need to put this in the calender or can one of us add it?
ps: 993 is back and running like a dream with its new engine loom.......mind you, most expensive oil temp guage I've ever fitted (as this was the only prob that was showing before)
pps: Sorry for those waiting for location of Porker jumble, will get this today and post.

I have now put this on the events section (complete with map details etc).
Hope it's lovely weather... it should be a great way to spend an afternoon.
Look forward to seeing some or all of you there. You'll recognise the hardcore PHers as they often have Ted's PH fleeces on, and if in doubt look for the tall lanky git with yellow tinted specs (yours truly).
All are welcome, even UV with his Ford Probe wheels ;-) Don't worry if you haven't got a Porker or something equally special. Wannabe fast car owners are just as welcome and you might blag a ride with an owner on the lovely roads nearby. Besides, I turned up in a Vauxhall last time and didn't get too many cheeky comments...
