Yup, there's only four going so far according to the calender, let's get as many names there as possible so more view and decide it'll be a good day out.

ps: Domster, go and view the general gassing stuff about Saxos, I think you'll pi*s yourself. So true.

I dunno, but it's not where this PH event is being held on Sunday... that is at 3pm-3.30pm at the Crazy Bear in Stadhampton, Oxfordshire. See the Events/Meetings forum for more info.

Just heard from Southbound, my car should be ready by Saturday Now, with any luck, I can get it early enough to hot-foot-it over to Northway and get my new wheels fitted before Sunday. Otherwise, I might have to attend the Ford Probe meet instead

Have a good one guys. As usual whenever you arrange these things I'm out of the country. Still by the time I actually make it to one, I might have a 348 at last!

Good to meet you all, have to do another soon - hoping to get some better weather then too!

Domster - cheers for hanging over the rear wheels side-car style on that sweeping motorway sliproad, knew we could have the Cerby boyz that way

Good to meet you all at the "Porsche" event (TVR 3:2 Porker).

Scottster - next time you need to take the handbrake off when you're being overtaken

Oh - I see - you did have it off

Jeremy, I had to put the handbrake ON to let you past mate, thought you were going to get taken out on the corner the way you were crawling past!!

There may have been more Tivs there than Porkers but if there were prizes for dodgy undertaking on the motorway the Porkers would get the gold medal. (We have to resort to such subtle tactics when we can't win in a straight line) - notice you didn't keep up, was that the bad traffic or were you getting the "Grow up, you don't have to go silly and drive like that just cos they are" speech from the missus?

(I certainly was, but luckily Dom and I out voted her on the dangerous driving vote)

It was a worse damnation than that - I was told that I shouldn't act like a Porker driver.

Too many numpties on that stretch - just what was their problem?

Jeremy, I should have warned you about that corner at the end of the Stadhampton straight... it is quite narrow, poor viz and a bit bumpy, even if not massively tight. I can remember braking hard for it at 120 in an M3 and thinking I'm glad I did, and I could see the Cerby 'work a bit' from where I was!

Scottster did brake for you, by the way - but I think we were still left in no doubt you have a quicker car above the ton!

Mmmm ... I knew the corner was there, just couldn't quite remember how sharp it was

Thought I'd err on the side of caution.

All i got was a kind of wimpering sound from the footwell. I enjoyed watching you and Jeremy down the straight. Bit of a shame the Porsche had to resort to "short" cut's. Although I thought the Volvo you overtook was trying to take a rest on the spoiler. Bit close!
