996 - Sports Exhaust/Air Intake

Can anyone recommend a good (noisy) sport exhaust for the 996? Local JCT is doing them for around £1200 fitted at the mo'

Also I put a pipercross cone filter on my MINI Coop which sounds great (better than changing exhaust) - similar mod available for the 996?

Had a scoot around the web but only found some yank sites (Fabspeed to name one)

Design 911 will do something, not a big fan of the guy myself but I dealt with him two years ago. He may have some better manners now

go for a fabspeed exhaust from design 911, 750inc vat. sounds the business - but retain originals for resale.

the fabspeed one comes with a cracking set of tailpipes, where as Porsche charge 400 for these on top of the 1250 sports silencers!

If you buy porsche and 911 world and look up Ian Masters at Speedart, he claimed to know of a second hand set, which were basically put on and then taken off and are going for a song. Speedart are in bromsgrove if you want to look them up, or have a web page.
