Tuscan looks great in almost any colour I think.

What I do find is that it is hard to photograph: I've taken many pictures and tried lots of angles but non come close to the "live" view

If you are going to buy and drive a loud shouty car, have it in a loud shouty colour.....

It never fails to get a reaction, some people love the Orange on a Tuscan, some people don't but i don't realy care biggrin

Paul
[biased] have to agree:

we have to meet up some day with these rare beasts, you go to Tony's as well I think?
I have to agree with both of you as well, orange is an awesome colour...

I was holding out for a cascade indigo car (1st choice). It was never going to happen. Settled for my 2nd fave, GTS blue.

Have to say though, that F1 green looks stunning!

The paint is called Spectra FX Blue Emerald (small flakes) made by Alsa Corp. I used a supplier in the USA who was considerably cheaper than buying from Alsa, pm me if you want me to see about a price.

I used a black base coat, the flakes then go in the clear coat with lacquer on top of that.

For anyone interested the cost of the flake used (1/4 pound), which goes in the clearcoat is around £350 to do the whole car. You then of course need the basecoat, clearcoat and lacquer but it's a lot cheaper than many flip colours!

That is one lovely colour, seems much more vibrant than the original swordfish colour.

When the time comes the change the colour on the Sag (dont want to change the car) it will be a difficult decision between that and Cascade Indigo.

Thanks Kev. Once I saw some samples of the colour on various objects it was an easy decision.
