Unfortunately it's true, it is in production yet, but coloured in the paint of the car with reflectors on the left and rear side, which are gone from the former position next to the rear lights. Also the indicators are gone from behind the rear window and now positioned above the rear lights........ I have some piccies, but have to develope them first. Christof

I always wanted a wraparound spoiler like the one's on the RS Capri.....NOT! Cerbera never needs any of this crappy aero-aid... what's happened to the Tuscan to make it need this piece of crap?

I do not beleeeiiiive it! nah, this is some kinda April fools windup on TVRs part (isn't it????). I'd heard the rumours about the 'S' and thought the aero work would be a long the lines of the 'R' rear diffusor as seen at Silverstone..... Edited by MikeE on Friday 6th April 09:52

I've gotta say - it looks like a cheap afterthought. When I first heard that TVR were back off to the windtunnel after not bothering since the days of the 400 se - I was pleased. The Tuscan R latest pictures look better that I had hoped. All modern TVR's that I have owned and driven all need more high speed down force. My old 400 SE was much better !

That really is look spoiler!(pun intended). But maybe it adds necessary downforce for stability at high speed? I don't know about the tuscan TVRs have always been scarily light in the rear end at high speed i've noticed, even though i've only driven a older modified chimera I had a scare discovering a tendancy to oversteer slightly at 120mph and above. Point is it needed arse end downforce, I bet the tuscy does too.

New piccies on the tvr web site, I think it looks quite good on the back of the S. The standard Tuscan seems to have a big of a saggy arse in comparison the back end now looks finished rarther than if somthings missing..

Looks like a bit of a "minger" of an after thought to me. I thought they'd sorted the early high speed stability problems with the RR suspension setup being standard?

It's either an April fool, or a mule, done to furtehr the wind tunnel testing the Tuscan has undergone. If that testing has shown up some drag or downforce problem, maybe this is a stick-on, to get a feel for how to modify the back end. Maybe, when the piccy was taken in Blackpool, it was on it's way to British Aerospace in Preston, for testing?

What a complete lack of imagination in the new rear end design. It reminds me of a low budget kit car approach. The spoiler ain't great, but the light arrangement is terrible. What was wrong with those fantastic lozenge LCD units. Pleased I didn't wait until this year to take delivery. Steve

How can they get the Tuscan R so right and the Tuscan S so wrong? I would not want that stuck on the back of my Tuscan if I owned one. I thought TVR were always dead against clutter, hence the lack of door handles, numberplate lights etc. Very, very strange... Graham

I would guess that they've added it in response to so many Tuscan owners complaining of how the car gets scary above 160mph. Maybe they should just make it look more like the Cerbera James
