I have an intermittent fault on the drivers side window rotary switch but can't find a replacement listed on any of parts supplier websites and TVRP haven't come up with anything. I have cleaned it up a couple of times with contact cleaner and re-made the connection, clearing the fault but it reappears after a few months. I have confirmed it is that switch by swapping the loom on the passenger side and the fault does swap over. The window drops/rises normally when opening the door so it's not a fault at that end.

Any leads on where to get a new one ?

No diagrams, I'll have to remove the centre console over the weekend to get a pic.

Have you tried RS Components? Someone got one of the pod rotary switches from them recently.

Finally got around to removing the centre console. Back of the switch looks like this:

Looks like a TVR Frankenstein ?

Any pointers appreciated.

Whilst I haven't solved this one yet, I did inadvertently solve something thats been bugging me for 6 months. I had a low level metallic tinkling sound coming from the rear cabin. Couldn't track it down, suspects were speakers or power amp. Finally realised through taking this pic that it was the rear screw for the console worked loose and the penny washer jumping around....
woohoo

Not from the PH massive for once. I did mention it to my local TVR specialist where I have it serviced and they suggested sending it to Paul, the ex factory electronics guru. I suspect it's a dry joint somewhere on the PCB. If it is the potentiometer then he should know where to source that bit. I haven't followed up on it yet as it typically takes him a month to do any job and I'm enjoying the summer too much and it only misbehaves occasionally.

I had the same problem, but mine was both the connector block and the rotary switch.
The connector is an 8 way AMP connector block and the replacement switch I got from RS I think.

Hope I'm not missing something that's specific about this one, but you can buy new from TVR Power (oops, Powers Performance wink).
