Battery in Dash Pod? if Pulled out?

Hello what would happen if I pulled out the Battery in my Dash/Pod? would I louse Miles? or Latest Software if I had it?

I'm asking is because I was not thinking str8 need mot soon but have taken off the org pod/dash and sent it off because some things need fixing it has 52997.5 miles on the clock

but I just put a second hand one on just so I can move it about but its off the road. only on my drive or locked up inside Garage.

I believe if left for too long you'd loose the mileage.

If the dash stack is going to Paul Smith, he should ask you for the mileage to re-input.
