Drive shaft boot

I need to change the n/s outer drive shaft boot following it being punctured by a rogue plastic bottle outside Le Mans last week; has anyone done this? Where is the shaft split from?
Thanks

Richard, Thanks

Last year - just before heading off to Classic LM, I also found the N/S outer boot split.
Was fettling car around at mates garage with a pit. He shot off to a factors in Southampton and got a 'generic' "cut to size and glue single seam" boot kit - - it's still on the car! Asked Jason when car up at STR8Six and he was happy with the boots security.
I guess if you want to get the original item the drive shaft needs to come out at the hub carrier end?
Nick
I'm halfway through the job, drive shaft out, cleaned and stripped, awaiting new boots (doing both ends since the shaft is out). Got a couple of good pointers from Richard at HHC who is always very helpful. In essence removed the cap screws at either end of the shaft, removed the lower inner wishbone bolts and lower shock absorber bolt; you have to pull the hub well out to get the driveshaft out. Unbelievably messy with grease but got there eventually.
Just putting mine back together now; (boot is same as sierra cosworth 4x4 rear).
apparently the torque setting for the cap screws is batter the allen key as hard as you can!
Stripping was a piece of cake- hub just pulls up and out of the way once disconnected and the outer cv spigot just needed a tweak with a screwdriver to prise it free.
reversal was very similar; I located the inner joint first on a couple of bolts, then roughly aligned the outer in the hub, before refitting the hub carrier bolts- which serves to bring the outer cv closer to the drive flange. A bit of a jiggle to locate the bolts then throw them all in before tightening sequentially
just waiting for new nylock nuts (7/16" UNF) and we're done
