What ICE for a Mk1 Tuscan?
Discussion
I think there is at least one thread on the Tamora/350/sag forum where a member fitted a double DIN unit with integral blue tooth/reversing camera/sat nav/electric ball scratcher. if your more adept than I with the PH search function- its in there somewhere....
if its a sound upgrade you seek; I carried out an inexpensive upgrade in my Tam with a Sony single DIN sized mechless head unit, Kenwood underseat subwoofer, 6" Clarion rear speakers and Alpine dash mount tweeters with crossover.

I put in a pioneer avic system. Single din. It has apple car play and mirror link. This means your maps messages contacts from your phone al come up on the fold out screen, also has dab etc, touch screen and can be expanded to connect cameras. Really good system that can be put back to original st any time as no alteration of interior is required

Interesting. Which avic system in particular and do you have a picture you could share?I had a clarion fold out screen with satnav job in mine but have just taken it out for a single din non satnav DAB unit. I use my phone with Waze for satnav when needed and it's much easier than the built in satnav. Also DAB works much better than FM for me with reception in the Tuscan.
Aerial wise, i installed a bee sting style one in the rear (take the big rubber bungs out of the boot and you can install in the void there).
Speakers, i've relocated the rear side speakers into the rear bulkhead (holes were already cut in the fibreglass). I've also made some fibreglass door pods to take a 17cm speaker on each door with a tweeter higher up in the door. All of these are driven off a 4ch amp in the boot.
I also have a sub (one of those small underseat all in ones) that's installed at the end of the passenger footwell behind the carpet so it's all hidden.
All of the above has massively improved things, especially when you're on a long cruise and not pushing on. I can get some pictures tomorrow if it'll help.

I’ve got a Parrot Asteroid Classic, an Android head unit with a pretty decent integrated Amp and excellent hands free phone. I don’t personally like the “pop up” screens so I use my phone for Sat Nav and Bluetooth the voice to the head unit. I’ve got component speakers in the original location and some tweeters mounted under the top part of the dash, there is a powered subwoofer in the boot. It all looks original and tidy but sounds awesome!
