The dash top is held in by 2 bolts - one at each end, towards the front of the dash. Access is a pain in the neck, literally, as it's up above the long aluminium bar that goes across. If you stick your head in the passenger footwell and look up you should be able to see either a bolt, or a square hole that the bolt goes through (then look for the same on the driver's side).

Clear photos within that thread! ^^.My 2 (cents) worth is the bolt removal at each end of dash top roll is made simpler by undoing the 2 off c/sunk machine screws that secure 'the shelf' to the alloy brackets at each end - - allows a bit more 'give' to get a 1/4" socket onto the hold-down bolts.
