My immediate thoughts when I saw the listing was if it had been recorded as a write off etc. The seller doesn't say in the add'.

However it might not bother other peeps.

Ive spoken to a couple of the previous owners on the Facebook group and it sounds as though there are various issues with it that i don’t really want to get involved in. Thanks

That's not the first time it's had a whack in that area is it! Be nice to see it repaired properly this time around.

The group was ‘tuscan owners and enthusiasts’ was very worthwhile going on there and asking the question as id found out a lot of history and spoke to 4 different people who had owned it ect. Was interested as it looked a cheap way into ownership. I bet tvr glen has brought it

Was i who brought it. Repair was more than damage seen in pictures. Previous repair was done to a poor standard. Decided to take all the car back to gel coat to see what sins had been hidden and sort them correctly. Refinished it in a Cascade colour with the view to keep.

Hope you get to see it at shows some day

Wow - what does a respray like that cost a walk-in punter?

A respray in this colour would be about 8k.

This though was much more than a respray, had I not been in the trade would have definitely caught a cold with the amount of labour required

Yes very much so, never owned a Tuscan and going this route in the long term has gave me a car with gaps and paint finish I've always would have wanted.

As with my previous TVRs it's something you say you'd do but never get around to. Wasn't an option this time around

That looks incredible. It's like a cascade copper and indigo in one.
Is it the custom colours / specialist paints chromacoat? If you're willing to disclose that is.
