Windscreen wiper blades rusty nuts - Replacement

They fitted the thread Ok, the thread needed paint removing and oiling ... so 3/4 UNEF 20tpi. The nuts are 10mm thick which is probably twice as think as the mild steel original ones ,but I think will fit... only tried them on my spare linkage not on the car.
UPDATE !!! Spoke to a lovely guy at Motalia and he's got another nut available 0.25" thick and 1.01" across the flanges and he's going to machine some stainless washer to fit nicely, which will make a much more professional job.
Perfect! Can you share details? How can we get hold of a set??UPDATE !!! Spoke to a lovely guy at Motalia and he's got another nut available 0.25" thick and 1.01" across the flanges and he's going to machine some stainless washer to fit nicely, which will make a much more professional job.

I ordered this morning...
https://www.motalia.co.uk/34-cycle-cei-20tpi-af-11...
But wait till I get mine and check.... The washer is a special ... so you can't order... not sure if it's needed.. I think it might be a rubber grommet underneath on mine , but will not know until it's removed.. I will get my friend Heath at X-Works to fit them , I don't want to break anything ....In the meanwhile I'm spraying mine with penetrating oil because they may be rusted in place and I don't want to damage the linkage forcing them off.

Lovely. There's a market for those...
The chap has done these as a special for me £40 / pair... If enough people agreed to purchase maybe able to get a bit discount on a group buy. He needs sufficient quantities to setup his CNC machines, I know he didn't have many nuts left and the washers were bespoke. They should fit all TVRs with the Matador linkage so that means all T Cars (Tuscans,T350,Tamora,Sagaris etc.) not sure about Cerberas .glow worm said:

Look amazing.. Count me in for a pair! The washers JUST fit , not a lot of room around the original nut and even less now, so be careful not to mark the paintwork (and don't use a socket it will not fit) . That's why I get a TVR expert to do these jobs for me .
Any excuse to post engine bay photos
PS . TVR didn't fit the wiper covers, but with a couple of little mods you can make them fit.... Put a flat on the main bonnet pin that supports the middle of the bonnet and remove a bit of the plastic cover.
