Under current legislation, once you have accepted goods, and then accepted an offer of repair for a defect, there is absolutely no chance of a refund. The fact of accepting a repair means you have accepted the goods as fit for their purpose. Who the hell is this crap dealer, anyway - everyone else in your area needs to know which one to avoid....
Scotty, sorry couldn't make it the last post, ive used MV for over five years and cant fault the service, and would even go as far to say that they have exceeded my expectations, maybe you need to build a better relationship with your dealer, try talking to them reasonably, their only human.
Hmmm...
Hope this isn't typical of Mole Valley (though comments from here wouldn't suggest so, and neither would the letter from TVR) since that's who I'm buying my Tuscan through.
Yes, you can go to another dealer I suppose, but I always try and stick to the one the car came from.

You may be right in hoping/expecting better service, but it doesn't change the fact that I have never heard of any manufacturer giving a full refund for faulty wipers.
Well I know Rover have done such a thing as I worked in current engineering for over 2 years. The law says that the item bought must be fit for purpose.
Driving in the rain without wipers is dangerous and if there has been a few times that the dealer cannot cure the fault than the customer is entitled to a full refund.
As in my experience however TVR factory and its Dealers have probably the worst customer service I have come across. Even my mates 1972 Saab is more reliable than the Cerbera I owned, the factory and dealer were hopeless. Why should anyone put up with poor customer service.

Rich B--if you read the post properly the dealer said 35 miles was too far--I added the massive --it is called sarcasm. Straight over your head matey .
Not quite a fair-cop Scotty. I did read you post properly and if you look back you'll see you used double hyphens instead of quotation marks, so how was I to know you were being sarcastic? Called crap editing - touché matey. Rich...
