I'm in the same position as yourself. That's my 07 plate Tuscan S at Driven Image. Fingers crossed both get sold quickly enough. I was expecting mines not to hang about for long considering it was one of the last ones, if not the last one, to be made!

Chaps - just a word of warning in light of the SOR thread. I bought my Tuscan from DI and shortly afterwards the engine needed rebuilding. Craig was as good as gold but was unable to settle the full amount of the repair as he intimated that the company was struggling financially (may be true or may have been bull to avoid coughing up the full amount). Not trying to imply anything but wouldn't want to see anyone else lose their car/money.

As every one knows, times are hard. We paid a weighty sum towards the cost of the rebuild, have recently moved and changed our complete business plan to complement the change of climate. Any SOR car remains the customers property in all events. even in the unprobable situation of us shutting down. I would like to make it clear that we have no intentions of shutting down and i am sure with a little digging you will find many happy customers who we have sold there cars on SOR

Regards

I wasn't. I had a look at the car in February, and while it wasn't the one for me in the end, I liked the redone front end.
(And I was told it wasn't a result of an accident or anything like that.)

You should only be concerned about hanging onto it when you keep the throttle pinned for more than ten seconds laugh

I changed the front end a few years ago as I liked the look of the T440R one, and it adds to front downforce and air into the radiators. I've still got the rather stone chipped cheese grater one in my garage somewhere!

Don't worry, it's not been in any prangs, and I fitted the stripes in 2005 then removed them about six months later. smile

Enjoy - it's a fantastic car thumbup

Hey, great..... thanks for commming back to me on that, helps to ease the mind!

Loving the car so far, but this is my first 'performance' car, so i am still very, very cautious... driving the thing like a bit of a fanny, to be totally honest..... then again, i DO have 10 points on my licence already, so a little prudence wouldn't go amiss for a while....... Thanks again for the reply!

Mark.

Hello chaps, just googled S6 FRR and your thread came up. If you’re interested in an update, I’m the now owner of the Tuscan, had it 3 years and it’s been fantastic. amongst a list of works I’ve had done, most notably are the full Powers engine and gearbox rebuild and a new interior which have made it a very sorted car that will last many more years. I’ve taken it to Sardinia and plan to visit Morzine next month in it.
