Cerby is always so enthusiastic, he FEELS THE NEED TO SHOUT ALL THE TIME! Cerby. The little key on the left of your keyboard. That's the one. The one with Caps Lock written on it. Press it. No, no, only press it once. All of a sudden, you don't sound so loud, brash and rude James

Graham, any service bills I get are caused by a "speed six engine" ...... Like what you Tuscan boys have got!!!...and James, get a life,i thought you were sad to have a carbon fibre seat made for your hampster...sorry dog,but to now feel insulted and upset with my caps locked jottings...well that just CAPS IT OFFthe reason for caps locked as my wife will tell you is coz I,m a lazy bum.

I'm not brave enough for a speed6 or a speed8 yet, i'll just stick with my old rover V8's for now ta... Graham ( there is more than one on the planet you know) Are there any differences between the 6 in the cerby and the tuscan? Tell me more about the reputation of the speed six engine! I understood it to have been OK in the Cerbra, is this not the case? Also do the early Tuscans now seem to be sorted out or are they continuing to be problematic.

Picking on an earlier point about the small number of cars going wrong as a percentage. How about the theory that Tivs have a bad reputation because we are all such a sociable bunch, happy in the performance per £ bracket that we CHOOSE to drive in, but still talking about problems (read 'sharing to try and find a quick cure') as opposed to Stuttgart types who try to hide whenever they have an unreliable one. Thus the fact that my Griff has been more reliable than my previous Scoobydoo thing, VR6 Golf and so on. Even my (wifes!) new BMW Touring(sorry guys but it does have some Aplina goodies and she doesn;t think a cerbie has room for kids dogs and shopping)has had a fair few problems. I just don't talk to other Beemer drivers if I can help it so we don't circulate the problems as publicly. I know I'm going to regret this but, I only realised at the weekend that I don't even have breakdown cover for the Griff anymore, been that way for months just forgot. I obviously have faith.

Another reason for selling is that this is the best time of year for it.

I've got a Griffith 500 and a Tuscan Speed 6 which I've now had for six weeks. Maybe I've been lucky but the build quality and finish of the Tuscan is about a zillion times better than the Griff.
