Considering and SD1 Vitesse

Hello all, ive been considering an SD1 for a few years but as im about to turn 30 and my insurance should be getting to within 'sensible' levels the time has come for something id like rather than something i can insure. So an SD1 Vitesse i dont know what it is but there is just something about these that i like, however its a Rover so how expensive are these to maintain? forgetting the fuel and road fund bills for a second. Id just like to know how much im getting into before i take the plunge

Great choice!
If maintained and used regularly, should have no major issues to keep it on the road.
As with all classics, rust is number one and can be expensive to repair.
Have a look/sign up on www.roversd1club.net and read up on forum.
That is were you find all the info and knowledgeable people you need and even a well looked after Vitesse if you are lucky
