Nonsense. If the UK were to quit the EU you'd be paying 3 times as much for cars than the rest of the civilised world, not twice as much as is the case now (yes I know I exaggerate). I can only see the new measures as a result of some nifty car-industry lobbying the authorities for mechanisms which allow them to keep prices high here. Rip-off Britain for you.
