as far as I know the car doesnt need overhauls. like the caterham they have installed it in has gone some 30K miles with no supposed rebuild. also, i've read the price is around £20-25K (40, 50K US) too much for my pocket but still AMAZING

according to the website the last i saw it (WHAT HAPPENED? its down), they were in the process of fabricating their own heads, rather than using the yamaha ones.

I've been lucky enough to have been taken out in RST-V8 Caterham and it really is a beast! Russell (pilot and owner!) was clearly passionate about what he had created and underlined its durability and reliability. The engine isn't related to any bike lumps other than sharing a few parts as mentioned above. A bit of backing from some larger engineering companies should make this a great engine for the future.
