Have had a Duster Comfort LPG for 6 weeks now very pleased.
I'm interested in the Duster LPG.With the LPG Duster, is there any way that a full-size or space-saver spare wheel can be fitted ?
Whilst the LPG option is a no brainer, make sure you have suitable reliable LPG refuelling sites nearby.
If the Dacia comes with the european connector it will need an adaptor to refil at UK filling stations.
My regular fill point at Morrisons they have banned the use of adaptors due to apparent damage to the pumps equipment, whether this applies at all Morrisons sites i don't know.

Sainsburys won't allow cars, with adaptors to fill up with LPG either, dont know the reasoning but it's on their website and an LPG Duster customer of mine was told he could't fill up when he tried, on a Sainsburys forecourt. Don’t have an LPG vehicle but do have a yank RV that we fill with LPG for the heating/cooker/fridge
Finding a filling station has become a pain in the arse in the last year or so, although admittedly we are limited by height and entry profile as you basically have to get a coach sized vehicle into a car area.
Lots have disappeared all of a sudden for some reason though

The Wookie I use the myLPG.eu free app and fill all over the West Midlands as that’s my work area. There are plenty where there are lots of Toyota taxis.
Yeah I use the website which I assume is the same database, like I said the issue is getting a 40 foot bus into some of the places as a lot of them are small local stations rather than on main routes. We actually have an LPG station a mile from us in Tamworth but the roads aren’t big vehicle friendly leading up to it and we can’t get the bus into the station without having to reverse it back out on a main roadGenerally we’ve used service stations in the past as they typically have high ceilings and wide entrances but all of the Shell and BP stations have had them removed in the last year and killed all our usual stops.
These days we use Corley as it’s not a million miles away from us and thankfully it’s a dirty great 80 litre tank so it lasts us ages and we don’t have to do it often!
Although the size issue is perhaps unusual the fact that all the service station lpg pumps have disappeared must be an annoyance for anyone doing longer journeys with their LPG vehicle
https://www.birminghamautogas.co.uk/ Wookie this place would work for you. Good access and height. I use them quite a lot and they are a good bunch.

Mega ta, actually the bulk delivery service they offer could be the winner, been struggling to find someone who will do it!LPG use to be very common here in Australia, cheap(around half the price of petrol) but it is now slowly disappearing.Ford use to manufacture dedicated LPG Falcons.First generation use to be called ‘Egas’,Venturi type system. From 2011 they developed the ‘Ecolpi’ system(probably without adoubt the best in the world.) Injection based system.Very, very good. The Ecolpi Falcons we’re very quick compared to their petrol counterparts.210kw & 410nm of torque.

Shell had a joint venture with Calor called Autogas, they quietly pulled the plug during 2020 lockdown.
Thats why its so hard to find now
Yeah that was very inconvenient for me as I had a lpg converted bmw and that ended up with head gasket issues and a replacement. After the replacement it only lasted 38000. Miles before it went again. Thats why its so hard to find now

Wasn't LPG also popular to avoid petrol fume abuse in Aboriginal communities? I know they made a low-fume version many years ago.Evanivitch said:

I was under the impression that the fuel in general has such low emissions it helps the UK targets for global warming emissions targets thus was taxed to be attractive. Apparently its emissions are so low low you need to take it to a specific mot tester who can test it or it fails on the petrol test as its not readable. I no longer longer have a lpg bmw but given shell pulled out of the market I would not want another lpg car plus finding mechanics who are brave and work on the car was tricky.
