Tax the Rich cars for sale

Does anyone remember the Tax the Rich YouTube channel where they drove Supercars offroad and did crazy stunts with them well they look like they are now for sale.

It would be interesting to see how RM Sotherbys describe the ownership of the cars seeing as they have ragged offroad and through fields etc.

Did you watch the videos? He ragged the cars off road. He powerslid the XJ220 around a field. He was hardly being kind to the cars.

I’m interested to know what the reason for selling is, hopefully he just fancies a big change in the garage but it could of course be him cashing in on the current values, I expect most of them are way up since buying,

Yes, watched lots, still doubt any real harm came to the cars, have you seen what they go through in testing? Hitting a kerb at 30mph is probably far worse. The stresses of a track day are accepted, I have hit saw tooth kerbs at 120+ and the amount of infields I have spun across did not show any signs under my 911 and it was pretty low. Been airborne a number of times.

Top gear mag interviewed them and they claimed no damage and even clutches were ok after tug of war (which you’d expect as the tyres were spinning)

A lot of cars of this ilk will just sit in garages though. If you really wanted a good driver you'd have certain priorities when looking.

If I was in the market I would have a good inspection of any high value car by a specialist.

So their previous lives do generally seem to be reflected in the prices achieved then.

I’m not sure. Some were actually quite high mileage - the LaFerrsri had 24,500 miles on the clock which I assume is high for such a car?

Fair enough. I guess it's one of those situations where there are so few with more than 2000 miles on them, it's difficult to know what effect greater mileage has on value. Doug DeMuro was talking about his Ford GT the other day, which has done 40,000 miles and he doesn't reckon low mileage cars command much of a premium because they are ten-a-penny.

I’m not so sure. They don’t seem far away at all. Any that are ‘cheap’ (lol), could be reasoned by a dip in the market in general.

Crazy collection though, over £20m of cars sold in that auction alone, mega.
