I want to replace the wiper jets for something tidier and quieter.

Clever Trevor and Leven Tech have versions for sale.

The Leven ones look like better value for money as you're getting a full wiper arm, blade and jet for more or less the same price as the wiper jet only Clever Trevor version, but does anyone know which one would be quietest at civilised motorway speeds?

Thanks!

You'll notice no difference in noise.

The CT ones are good, I have a set. They are very small.

The Levern ones are also good and probably have a better spray pattern but are bigger. They are also stuck to the wiper I think so you have to reglue to the new wiper blade each time you change or just replace the wiper rubber.

Cheers ridds, much appreciated. If it's not the extra long tube feeding the wiper jet, and apart from the door mirrors, I wonder what the main culprits for wind noise are?

I have the Clever Trevor type ones fitted to mine (although I think I got them from Racetech or someone else).

To be honest, not much better than the standard ones (which are pretty cr*p to start smile)

I've had the Leven ones for a while. Austec changed the blades at the last service, no mention of it being a problem (and yes, wiper blade changing IS within my DIY capabilities hehe )

Demon Tweeks do some jets that clip to any wiper arm. The look pretty neat. I will use them on the Tuscan when I need to replace the curent ones.

They do "storm" ones , they look a little bulky to me...?

I don't think they are. Thats going by the pics, it looks pretty small on the arm. I know some Tuscan owners use them. I curently have the blades with built in washers and they are too bulky.

I am fitting Jets on the scuttle panel. I bought a brand new set off e-bay from a huyundaı iirc. They have a 3 pattern style nozzle and will be 100% better than any of the ones above as i have had both sets on my Chim and now Cerb and all they really do is dripple water on the screen. I will post up when i get round to fitting them, They will be out of sight as well will look much cleaner.

I fitted Leven arms and spray bar having discovered the springs on both my arms were shot even though they seemed very strong the Leven ones glue to the screen even at motorway speeds, honest officer.

The spray heads put the water directly in front of the blades as they wipe which is were you want it i have had no issues with them at all very good kit.

It looks like swapping over to a neater replacement won't make much difference in terms of wind noise, so I'm thinking I might as well go for the simpler Clever Trevor version and see how they work out. Thanks for all your helpful insights smile

This is the ones i am fitting under the scuttle panel on each side where the 2 gaps are. I will make some alloy brackets up at work to mount them.

I will also fit some tesco aqua blades for £6 each while i am at it they are great have had them in my last 2 daily drivers and at that price even better.

I think I've got the CT ones, they were fitted before I bought the car. I find they seem to work well, no complaints from me.

I had a Subaru Legacy briefly 2006 vintage best screen nozzles I've ever seen - they were just under the edge of the bonnet and sprayed a flat fan jet of fluid which covered the entire screen

Neat job Kevin, I'll have to find you at Chatsworth and have a look at the install if you're not too busy! and also get a look at the Leven (FUBAR/jackwibble) and CT (ridds/tonywilliams) versions and the huyundaı ones from scotty_d. Really looking forward to my first Chatsworth smile

I fitted the Leven ones last weekend, they are very neat and spray right in front of the blade which means I don't have to keep re-wiping all the excess after using the jets if that makes sense?

My car will be at the gate and not with the other Cerbera's so it will be easy to find smile
