The nearest was the Esso at St Clears!
Not a bad excuse when you live in Haverfordwest and say "back in a minute just popping out to get petrol" thumbup
I was told there was some in Haverfordwest, but wrong direction for me...

I picked mine up from the paint shop, to say they did a faultless job is an understatement it is so good.

I haven't taken any photos yet but will when the sun is out but the finish is like glass, the car look wet even though it is not.

So chuffed!!!

Engine out and delivered for Jason to sort the head gasket failure. Meanwhile the car is in my garage for an engine bay, front suspension and steering refurb

Picked it up from a service and having the exhaust rebuilt.

I have full ACT system with the balanced headers, at the mating surfaces had bowed through heat and were no longer sealing properly so the were all replaced as was the back box as I had caught it on the drive so many times it was a bit mangled. Also had the holes for the lambda's drilled out larger to accept newer wideband units to go with the new MBE ECU to allow for knock sensors and much tighter control of the emissions while squeezing a dozen or so more horses out of the old girl.

Had to “Helicoil” my cam cover bolt holes. I’ve not used this before and can now recommend them as worked a treat! I ended up fixing four separate holes on the passenger side alone.

Washed the car to get the garage dust off, then took it for a drive.

I might have got that the wrong way around biggrin

Took it to work yesterday so it's filthy again...
But it did make a work colleague go home at lunchtime and return in his RS Turbo escort biggrin

Check all the bolts as well. I had a couple work loose causing the rattling

Picked my car up from Taylor TVR after a 3 week stay.

Now has a Raceproved clutch slave, new clutch, new spigot bearing, rear crank seal, ACT stainless steel exhaust manifolds, ACT big bore exhaust fitted with silenced decats, leaking cam covers have been fixed, valve clearances done, new inlet heat barriers, fuel hoses in the engine bay replaced, oil filter to block hose replaced, engine bay heat shielding replaced, engine block cleaned, complete fluids change, service including set up, alignment done and a new MOT!

It felt very good on the way home, has transformed it, although it was raining so couldn't push it. Should be all set for the better weather.
