What is it with the leave the single lights? Yes the car looks great no doubt but as an improvement "I think" the twins are the obvious place to start. The car lookswise the car punches with anything released today but when I see the singles I think to myself... hmmm how old is it?
A mod purely for looks can be a disaster but pair that with a function and it will be different anyway as let's face it the car was never made perfect.
All my opinion but then I've always modyfided all cars I've had from audis to Range Rover Vogue's just make the car how you want it. And if you come to sell understand you may or may not be offered the premium

There comes a point when a car just becomes old no matter how futuristic it was when released. Chims/Griffs etc seem to fall into that category and IMHO sit well within it incl the old style lights.
The Cerb is caught in a time warp what hasn't even arrived yet, the lights are one of the aspects that does date the car but then so does other aspects like the clocks etc.
I like the headlight upgrades for the Cerb and it seems to work better but maybe a time will come when people see the Cerb similarity to other 90's models and the classic looks of old headlights will again become the in thing.
Making them work properly with better bulbs etc is another thing though.

Originality? The later cars came with different lights.Outl4w said:
I did hear a rumour that someone had adapted a Seat Leon Cupra splitter to fit a Cerb, I wonder if this is it?
Does anyone know where the splitter was sourced from?

No different to your opinion that later lights are the one then..
No different?.. except the opposite opinion (we can both be facetious ;P) and I always state clearly its my opinion call it OCD but I always have to state that as so many can say things and forget i'ts their opinion and NOT fact but I think we can agree to disagree on the look of the headlights.Anyway wondering what the next body mod will or can be a lipped rear spoiler like the Cerbera Speed 12 had in the evo article years back was nice I thought.

I love the subtleness of the splitter on this car, it's unlike any other I have seen (and I've been trying to find a decent one for ages).

Hi mate, thanks. This is my car. I did hear a rumour that someone had adapted a Seat Leon Cupra splitter to fit a Cerb, I wonder if this is it?
Does anyone know where the splitter was sourced from?
As I said before I like really subtle mods. For me, it's a game of slightly changing something but to most people they would never know.
Yes, this is a Gen 2 Seat Leon Cupra R (genuine) splitter.
Was a bit of work to get it to fit right but nothing major.
Self tapping screws and painted the same colour as the car.
Have pics of the measuring, cutting and fitting somewhere.

Might as well jump into the snake pit of the Originality Police
Only a few little things, but boy they still cost a lot!
Carbon front splitter,
Single lens headlights to Speed 6 type arrangement, but with lens covers to protect the lamps,
move low front indicator to the side light aperture of new headlight cluster,
mask over the old indicator aperture to accentuate the sill line around the whole front end,
remove wing indicator repeaters,
adapt wing mirrors to house LED strip as new repeater indicators,
From this;
